Recap: What Happened
Two of the three Community Days covered by this schedule have now taken place. Here is what the official event announcements say about each, with times shown in your local time.

September 12, 2026: Gible (Community Day Classic)
The event ran from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Gible appeared more often in the wild, with a chance of Shiny Gible and Special Background Gible. Catching earned 3x XP, Incense lasted three hours, and Lure Modules lasted one hour. Gabite evolved before 9:00 p.m. local time that evening became a Garchomp knowing Earth Power, which has 90 power in Trainer Battles and 100 in Gyms and raids. The event also had a Collection Challenge for evolving Gible and Gabite (rewards included Garchomp Mega Energy) and a paid Special Research.
Because this was a Community Day Classic, Gible was not a new feature. Pokémon GO Hub’s raid guide says Gible’s original Community Day was in June 2021.
October 10, 2026: Zorua
The main event ran from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., with most bonuses lasting until 9:00 p.m. Bonuses were 3x catch XP, 2x catch Candy, a doubled chance for Trainers level 31 and up to get Candy XL, three-hour Incense, one extra Special Trade (two per day) and 50% less Stardust for trades. Zorua evolved during the event, or within four hours afterward, learned Sucker Punch as a Zoroark. Our Zorua Community Day recap has the full details.
What To Do Now That It Has Ended
- Check your Pokémon: Garchomp with Earth Power and Zoroark with Sucker Punch could only be made while the evolve windows were open. Look for them in your storage with the move-name filter before you use them for transfers or trades.
- Use your Candy: Gible and Zorua Candy from the events can still be used to evolve or power up. The candy calculator and Stardust calculator show what a target level will cost.
- Judge by IVs: A Community Day evolution is only worth investing in if the stats are good. See the IV explainer and the IV calculator.
- Missed an exclusive move? Bulbapedia states that most legacy and event-exclusive moves, including Community Day moves, can be taught with an Elite Charged TM, provided the move is in the Pokémon’s move pool. Whether a given Pokémon and move qualify is something to check in the game before spending the TM. Our Elite TM guide explains when this is worth it.

Niantic’s official season “save the date” post lists the dates below. Niantic notes that dates are subject to change, and no featured Pokémon is given for the November Community Day in that post.

Will It Return?
Niantic has a documented format for revisiting earlier picks: the Community Day Classic, which is how Gible came back on September 12, 2026. Niantic announces which Pokémon return, and when, on its own schedule, so there is no confirmed rerun for Zorua or any other past Community Day.
