How Candy costs scale
Every half-level power-up costs a fixed amount of Candy and Stardust, and the cost rises in tiers as a Pokémon gets stronger — 1 Candy per power-up early on, climbing to 4 Candy (plus XL Candy) once you're pushing past level 40. This calculator adds up every step between your current and target level using Niantic's published cost table, so you know the total before you start spending.
